In 1923, Wendell Dean Postle graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, opened his own practice, and became a part-time faculty member at the college. After serving at the college as an instructor, Wendell was named dean of the College of Dentistry in 1939 and at the age of 39, he was the school’s youngest dean serving for 25 years. In 1976 the dentistry building was named Postle Hall in his honor. Wendell’s son, Harry Herbert Postle II, followed in his footsteps, graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. He went on to teach at the college and to practice dentistry with Wendell for more than 30 years at two different office locations near The Ohio State University Campus.
Dr. Herb continued the family tradition and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1986 at which time he joined the family practice and worked with his father for 12 years before Harry’s retirement. In addition, Dr. Herb taught for 8 years at the college while practicing with his father.
Today, with over 30 years of experience, Dr. Herb prides himself on being a part of a dental practice with high standards and a commitment to excellence that goes back generations. He is joined in this dedication by Dr. Lisa Briceland-Kolp and Dr. Michael Willmann, as well as his dedicated staff.
